Teil is a command-line utility to searrch/replace strings in text files. It has been planned as more powerful utility than Aurh_sr because Teil can handle the current situation of search/replace, for example, detect and resolve not-found situations. The utility has mechanism of search/replace with the use of regular expressions. The distribution includes documentation. The utility requires VB6 runtime libraries be installed on your PC.

The current version of the program is 2.0 (released on August, 25, 2009). The utility has been significantly redeveloped. Now the program features interpreter of operators, and expression evaluation engine. The complete feature list is given in documentation included in the distribution.
